ADMISSION
A visit to the school is required before admission to our school. At that time we will give you a packet of information that explains all Trinity educational goals, tuition costs, procedures, and requirements. Please call the Main Office for an appointment. Trinity Nursery and Kindergarten is very proud of its culturally rich, diverse student body. Each application is considered individually, keeping in mind the ability of Trinity Nursery and Kindergarten to meet the applicants particular needs.
An Enrollment Agreement Contract must be completed and signed before the registration procedure is complete. This Enrollment Agreement should be submitted with the registration card and a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee. Upon completion of these documents, they will be reviewed and you will receive a confirmation card in the mail.
Once a child is admitted, an emergency medical form must be submitted. By the first day of school, a Pennsylvania State immunization record must be submitted for all Kindergarteners.
TRANSPORTATION
Under Act 372 of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, school districts are required to provide the same service to independent schools as they do for public schools. Kindergarteners who attend Trinity are eligible for this service if they live more than 1 & 1/2 miles from the school and no farther then 10 miles. Trinity provides the names and addresses of our eligible kindergarteners to the school district transportation office in your school district.
OPEN HOUSE
Open House is held in the fall. After a short introduction by the Director, you will proceed to your child's classroom where each teacher will review her plans for the year. Questions pertaining to the curriculum and the classroom policies are welcome. Questions about your child in particular should be saved for later.
PROGRESS REPORTS AND CONFERENCES
Oral conferences will be scheduled in February along with a written progress report. A written report will also be issued at the end of the school year. If additional conferences are needed, parents may contact the Director or your childs teacher.
FOOD
A mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack of cookies or crackers and milk is served to children. Anyone allergic to the snacks provided is encouraged to bring his or her own snack.
